Your job is to produce an A3 size poster/information sheet that:

• Explains why China enacted the One Child Policy
• How the policy worked – what was involved? How did the Government administer the policy? Think about:
• How the policy worked if people did as they were supposed to;
• How the policy made sure people followed the rules.
• What people’s views of the policy were inside China at the time.
• What have been the advantages and disadvantages of the policy?
• What is your view? Don’t forget to use evidence to back up what you think.

Remember, your task is to explain and inform people about the Policy and show its strengths and weaknesses. You need to use relevant, labelled visuals and make sure you put a bibliography on the back of your sheet.  You will be in the senior ICT room for this lesson but you will also have a homework to complete the task.
